The head coach of "Dynamo" Marcel Lichka in a flash interview with the TV channel "Match TV" shared his expectations for the cup match against the team "SKA-Khabarovsk".
— You made nine changes to the starting lineup compared to the last championship match. Are Fernandes and Balbuena such indispensable central defenders?
— One could say that. For us, they are the basic pair right now. Today, besides them, only Nicolas Marichal and the young Kirill Isaev traveled with us.
— What did you base your choice of the starting lineup on?
— We all work together – 22-23 players. We currently have three games a week, and this is a good opportunity for players who have been on the bench more to show themselves. They also deserve this chance because they work great in training. It is clear that today's game will be played on an artificial field, but I have already said that we should not look for excuses in this. We need to go out, show quality football, and score goals. The opponent is physically and tactically competent, so we must not give them the opportunity to show their strengths.
— The field is quite peculiar. How much will this interfere?
— I am confident that we will quickly adapt and show our best qualities because we want to go as far as possible in the Cup.
