The head coach of Dynamo, Marcel Licka, answered journalists' questions after the match against Krylia Sovetov ( 1:0)
— A very difficult game for us. The opponent played well-organized defense, 8-9 players were almost always behind the ball, closing the spaces between the lines quite quickly. A year ago, we wouldn't have won such a game. We endured a lot, there were many quick counterattacks, but our defense handled all the moments. Milan played great at speed, Fabi performed well in one-on-one situations, and Diego and Eli on the flanks also played at a high level.
The problems were in attack - we played very slowly, passed the ball around for a long time, didn't take risks, and didn't surprise the opponent's defense.
— Why were there so many ball losses in simple situations today?
— I also said in the break that we had too many losses. Sometimes we rushed, playing with just one touch. When we get the game report, the percentage of accurate passes will be somewhere around 70%. That's very low. To have a good match, the quality of passes should be at least 85% or higher.
— How would you rate Jorge Carrascal's performance?
— Unfortunately, he often made wrong decisions today. When he should have passed or played a wall pass, he went forward himself, and vice versa. He was one of the players who didn't provide the necessary quality in attack. In the second half, there was an important situation when he could have passed to Gladyshev, but decided to go for the goal himself and lost the ball. In defense, he tried hard and did his job properly
— Yaroslav Gladyshev started the season well, but today he was left on the bench. Was he given a break?
— He took part in all the games of the season. Yes, I scolded him a little for the match against Zenit, and he reacted perfectly in the game with Makhachkala. It was his best game in the last six months — it's not just about the goal, he worked great on the field both with and without the ball. He played 45 minutes against Zenit and 90 minutes in the Cup, so today he stayed on the bench and was my weapon to improve our attacking play in the second half. I'm sure Gladi will get his playing time and grow.
— How serious is Nicolas Ngamolet's injury?
— It's hard to say how long he will be out. First, we need to do an examination, but it's unlikely he'll be back in a week
