Dynamo head coach Marcel Licka answered journalists' questions after the Cup match against SKA-Khabarovsk (2:1).
— This is a very important victory. I won't hide the fact that it wasn't easy to play on an artificial pitch. I am very glad that it started raining and the ball started rolling faster. Then a strong wind began, which already worked against football. I told the guys that it would be difficult here, because the opponent is showing good football in the FNL, and it turned out that way.
— Four minutes have passed between the Khabarovsk team equalizing the score and Dynamo second goal. How important was it not to let go of the game at that moment?
— I wanted the team to keep the clean sheet, because such wins always help mentally. I am very glad that we finally scored on a set-piece, which we have not been able to do for a long time. And the main thing is that it turned out to be a quick response to the goal scored by the opponent.
— What did you expect by fielding technically gifted Chavez and Bitello on such a heavy pitch for the last 15 minutes?
— I wanted them to add quality. It was also useful for them to get playing time and get acquainted with the St. Petersburg weather.
— Can we say that this victory will serve as a small rehabilitation for the defeat in the previous round?
— This is not rehabilitation at all. We need to win the next five games to rehabilitate ourselves for Rostov. We have an important derby against Spartak ahead of us, which we need to go to with a completely different attitude to the game than in the match with Rostov.
— Did a large group of players stay in Moscow because of injuries?
— Laxalt, Ngamaleu and Majstorovic did not play due to the risk of injury on an artificial pitch. Parshivlyuk was suspended, and Carrascal had a small injury.
