Dynamo head coach Marcel Licka commented on the Cup defeat against Pari NN (1:1, 3:4 – on penalties) in the interview to the main broadcaster.

— We had a lot of young players in the squad today, for whom it was a great experience to play against such a team like Nizhny Novgorod. Ilya Kuptsov played well at goal, Stas Bessmertnyi looked solid in defense. These young guys are the future of Dynamo. They also need playing practice so that they establish themselves. Both sides could have scored the second goal, but in the end of the match the fate of the game was decided on penalties. They are a lottery. The opponent was luckier today. Of course, I'm not happy with the result, but we looked better in this game than in the previous one.

— There were a lot of individual mistakes. How do you explain this?

— Yes, we lost the ball easily several times and gave Nizhny Novgorod the opportunity to score a goal. It is clear that the players are only getting used to my requirements, since we have been working together for only a month. I have already told that it is impossible to build in three weeks what we have been building in Orenburg for three years. It takes time, we learn from such mistakes and progress.

— Those who played against Krasnodar should be nervous, given the play that the young footballers showed today?

— Competition in the team is very important for us. These young players are pushing the teammates. It's good – everyone has to work and prove that he is worthy to come to the pitch.

— After the match you went with the team somewhere inside the stadium. What was there?

— The Dynamo hockey team came to our match, and we met with them. Their coach Aleksey Kudashov recently celebrated his birthday. We gave him a football shirt and took the common team photo.
