Marcel Licka: The team is still mentally weak at crucial moments of the game

The head coach of the White-Blues Marcel Licka answered journalists' questions after the draw against Sochi (3:3).

— It's hard to talk after such games, when you are holding everything in your own hands, and then you miss the advantage. Thanks to Igor Leshchuk for denying a penalty at an important moment. Then everything went well – Tyukavin and Gladyshev made the score 3:1. In the second half we could have scored the fourth goal and win the match. Instead, we began to show passive football, stopped playing fast forward and the danger disappeared. This game was a copy of the match in Samara. The opponent scored one goal, and everything changed. We were not mentally good, and by the end the Sochi side could even win. It's good that Igor saved the team, and then the post helped us. The team is still mentally weak at crucial moments of the game.

— So, are you disappointed with today's score?

— Yes, I am very disappointed. We had to make it 4:1 and secure a win calmly using ball possession. But in the end we didn't show our character.

— Will you say anything about Tyukavin's and Gladyshev's performance who managed to score again?

— Of course, it's good that Tyuka scores in the third consecutive match. Gladi got his chance to come out from the first minutes and also scored a very nice goal. For them, this is a big bonus in psychological point of view. Unfortunately, we are all disappointed with the final score.

— Do Sochi occupy an undeservedly bottom place in the table?

— They have been playing the last games very well. I think they will be stronger and improve the result.
