Marcel Licka: Training camps are a good chance for youngsters to be well prepared | News of FC Dynamo Moscow

The White-Blues' head coach Marcel Licka commented on the friendly match against Gangwon (2:2) at the Turkish VTB training camp.

— Dynamo conceded two early goals again. What is the reason for this?

— The guys work hard and come to the pitch on tired legs. It was an important game for Gangwon, because they respect Dynamo history very much and have been diligently preparing for it. We played two matches with two different squads and didn't chase the final score. The results should be positive in the championship, not at the training camps. We are working here and trying to prepare for the restart of the season.

— The Korean football players showed good resistance to our team. Did you know anything about Gangwon before the match?

— Yes, we had a little theory on which we analyzed some aspects. Korean teams always have fast, skilful footballers who like aggressive play. It's clear that it was a friendly match, and I didn't want anyone to get injured.

— Quite a lot of young guys took part in these two matches. What can you say about them?

— They will also play against Orenburg. They need to learn and gain experience. After all, they will have to face experienced and well-trained players in the Premier League. For young people, training camps are a great chance to get to know the level of good teams. This is how they will prepare for high intensity and struggle, which they lack sometimes in games at the youth level.
