— Igor Leshchuk is in the starting lineup today. Why did you choose him?
— Anton Shunin played 6 games in a row. We talked with the goalkeeping coach and decided that now is a good moment to give Igor a chance to show that those two mistakes are in the past and he is ready to compete with Anton for the goalkeeper's spot.
— Fedor Smolov is missing today's game due to disqualification, and it's Yaroslav Gladyshev's birthday. Is that an additional reason to put him on the field?
— I don't see it that way. We have several options to strengthen our flank play – Gladyshev, Makarov, and Ngamaleu. I wouldn't want to promise that Yaroslav will definitely play. I congratulate him on his birthday and wish that his career only goes upwards.
— Robert Moreno said that he sympathizes with "Dynamo" and other upcoming opponents of "Sochi". What do you think about such statements?
— The day after the match with "Spartak" I said that the game against "Sochi" would be twice as hard. In such meetings, like with "Spartak" or "Zenit", the attitude and approach to the game automatically reach the highest level. Sochi, on the other hand, is in the last place in the table. At the same time, their philosophy and gameplay have changed, and they are one of the best teams in the second half of the season. Yes, they failed to turn several matches into victories, but they also don't lose. They play football and try to press any opponent.
