Dynamo head coach Marcel Licka answered journalists' questions after the match against Ural (1:2).
— We overslept the first 10 minutes and conceded an early goal from a corner kick. We talked about the fact that the opponent is struggling for survival and would attack from the very beginning, looking for their centre-forward Kashtanov. And it could be difficult for us. After conceding the goal, we started controlling the ball, but we didn't create any danger. Two shots in the half – that's not enough. In the second half, we didn't convert our chances, and in such cases, the opponents always get an opportunity, which they took advantage of. It's frustrating.
— Sometimes it seems that Dynamo are a mood team. Today the necessary aggression lacked. How would you comment on that?
— The first 10 minutes of the match were a good indicator. We thought we would have possession of the ball, and the opponent would fall back to their goal, but in the end, they started playing very aggressively and scored a goal. Then we controlled the ball, but far from the opponent's goal, we were moving it from left to right without any creativeness, not trying to play one-on-one. Yes, after the break we created 3 good chances, but in such games, you have to convert them. Out of two chances, one has to be realized.
— You tried to refresh the attacking play by substitutions. How important was it for Dynamo to win today?
— It was very important, as we could have reduced the gap from Krasnodar. Every game is important, there should be a great desire to win in every match. You can't come and think that everything will go by itself. You always need to play aggressively, do the basic things and then add the individual qualities of the players.
