The head coach of Dynamo Marcel Licka commented on the win in the first pre-season match against SKA-Khabarovsk (2:1).
— There is hard work at the training camp, so it was not easy for us to play. In addition, it was quite hot today. I am very glad that the guys tried to do things which we train regularly. It is clear that there were mistakes, but I told my players in advance that there was no need to be afraid of them. I am satisfied with this win, because any victory gives confidence. We are calmly going step by step to be one hundred percent ready for the start of the Premier League.
— During the week, the team did 13 intensive training sessions, and everyone was surprised by the pace that Dynamo maintained throughout most of the match.
— Both in the first and in the second half, we kept the pace for 25 minutes, after which it was already harder to continue this way. I want my team to play intense and rapid football. Today I saw good episodes and I can say that the team is built of smart and good footballers. And we have to use their individual qualities.
— Special attention was paid to the players who had returned from loan – Vyacheslav Karapuzov, Igor Shkolik, Andrey Mazurin. How was their play?
— I don't want to applaud anyone, because now the guys played after hard work done. They are showing themselves well in training, and today they also had good chances. I would like to thank young centre-backs Leon (Zaydenzal) and Vanya (Lepsky), who helped us today. We can develop these guys. They have a certain level that can be improved.
