Dynamo centre-back Nicholas Marichal made his first appearance as Uruguay international in a friendly game against Paraguay.
The encounter of two Olympic national teams that was held in Uruguayan city of Maldonado, ended in a 4:1 win of favor of the hosts. Marichal came out as a starter and played the full match.
Currently, Uruguay is preparing for 2024 Paris Olympics qualifying campaign, in which Marcelo Bielsa's team will face Paraguay in their tournament opener on January 24.
