The White-Blues’ newcomer Matias Normann told about his decision to come back to Russia and remembered Rostov matches against Dynamo.
— Many sides wanted to sign you. Why did you choose Dynamo?
— I had a long conversation with the club’s representatives, and they convinced me that this would be the best option for me. I know this team, their style and philosophy. I know some of the players. I believe in this project, that's why I came here.
— What do you remember about your performance at Rostov, especially games against Dynamo?
— I remember that I fouled for penalties in two consecutive Moscow matches. Perhaps it was my subconscious that knew something in advance (smiles). I also remember a great match against Dynamo in Rostov, when I made an assist.
— Have you watched Dynamo matches this year?
— Yes, of course, I watched the last encounter with Ural and witnessed an amazing game winning goal! I watched the Cup game with Rostov. And I followed other matches when I lived in Russia.
— Do you know someone personally in the team?
— I know Fedor Smolov, as well as Sergey Parshivlyuk and Dmitry Skopintsev with whom we crossed paths in Rostov.

— Do you know how to become part of the team as soon as possible?
— I think so. I am friendly and communicate a lot with teammates. I know the league well and understand what the coaching staff and the club expect of me. I'm ready to do my job.
— Have you already talked to Slavisa Jokanovic?
— Yes, we talked before my arrival in Moscow, and already at the training ground when I came here. I'm really looking forward to working under his guidance. I like his football philosophy and understand his requirements.
— What goals do you set for yourself at Dynamo?
— My main goal is to become the best version of myself both in the game and as a person. I want to do my job on the pitch in good faith, and then, I am sure, all my goals will be achieved.
— Can you say something in Russian?
— Yes, I speak Russian very well. I understand everything.
