Before the derby with CSKA, the forward of the white-blue team Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleo shared his emotions about his incredible goal in the previous round, talked about recovering from an unpleasant ankle injury and the fate of two bottles of wine given as an apology by Tomas Galdames

Was it easy to recover from the disappointing defeat in the cup derby and prepare for another important game against CSKA?

— Of course, it's not easy to recover after such a defeat against Spartak, but there's a new derby ahead, and we have to do it. It's very important to put that game behind us as soon as possible and properly tune in for the match against CSKA, which we must win.

— What can you say about our nearest rival?

— The army team is strong, and it will definitely be difficult for us. The main thing is that they also try to play football, so the game should be interesting both for us and for the audience.

— During the transfer window, Dynamo was strengthened by two players who can play in your position — Artur and El-Mehdi Maouhoub. For you, the stronger the competition in the team, the better?

— It's always great when there is competition in your position. This makes you work twice as hard in training to get into the starting lineup. Although I always give my best anyway, well, the final choice is up to the coach

— With the arrival of Artur, we got another good dribbler in the squad. Who is currently the best at it in Dynamo?

— Yes, now we have a lot of players with good dribbling skills in our team. But if I had to choose, I'd say Jorge Karraskal — he's really good.

— You started the season well, but then you had a serious injury. How is your ankle now?

— Yeah, it was a very unpleasant injury because you feel it even when walking. I still have painful sensations and sometimes I have to play through the pain. But that's the fate of football players, so I don't complain.

— Thomas Galdames, the player who injured you, gave you two bottles of wine as an apology. What happened to them?

— To be honest, I don't drink wine, so one bottle is still at home, and I gave the other one to my driver.

— What is your favorite drink?

— I always prefer water

— In the previous round in Makhachkala, you scored a fantastic goal. Have you ever done something similar before in an official match?

— I was really happy that I managed to make such a kick. I think I'll put it on the first place in my top of the most beautiful goals in my career. I always enjoy doing something like this on the field because it always stays in your memory and it's nice to remember such goals later.

— After the match, the SMM guys made a post with your goal and a caption with a combination of buttons that you need to press to score like that in FIFA. Do you play football on a console yourself? Do you manage to score such goals?

— Yes, sometimes I play FIFA on a console, but I haven't scored such beautiful goals there yet, so in reality I do better (laughs). Generally, I prefer playing strategies more often.

— We noticed that you stopped doing your signature somersaults after scoring goals this season. Why?

— This season I decided to start celebrating differently, so for now I'm trying different options.

— In 2024, you have already scored five winning goals — more than anyone else in the RPL. How many more goals can we expect from you by the end of the year?

I'm glad that I can help the team win. I always give my all on the field, and as a reward I get goals and assists like these. I hope there will be as many of them as possible
