Nikola Moro: We will work hard to keep the leading position

— Yesterday the team earned a well-deserved victory but scored only once. What did you lack to win with a more comfortable result?

— It was a good game and an important victory. We wanted to score more but sometimes it’s like this — you shoot thirty times and get only one goal. But it’s important that we didn’t concede any and this goal was enough.

— Ural didn’t make any shots on goal. Were there any games like this in your career?

— I’m not sure. It’s a very good thing for us. Even though they had less players after Bicfalvi was sent off, we all remembered that in Ufa we also had had one player more and conceded twice. It’s important that we improved this. I think now we are better in organization and more experienced.

— You made a great shot with your left foot when the goalkeeper made a save. Do you often work on such shots at training sessions?

— No, it’s just when I have an opportunity to shoot, I’m doing it. That’s all.

— You were called up for the main Croatia national team for the first time. Does it give you special motivation?

— Of course. These are special emotions and for me it’s amazing to join our national team. I’m very happy and it gives me additional motivation to work harder and play better for Dynamo.

— Have you already discussed the upcoming game between Croatia and Russia with your teammates?

— Yes, we exchanged some jokes, but the game is still too far away. We have one more RPL match and will think about the national teams afterwards.

— We are now top of the league and in the next match we are playing against Lokomotiv. What is the atmosphere in the team before the derby?

— We are in a good position. We won four out of five games and deserve to be there. We will work hard to keep this place. We want to beat Lokomotiv and go to the break in a good mood.
