Dynamo winger Nicolas Ngamaleu shared his emotions of a important win over Zenit and told how the team managed to get it.
— Describe the emotions that reigned in the winning dressing room.
— Everyone was happy after such a victory. It's always a pleasure to beat a team like Zenit. It will give us energy in the upcoming matches. We are all happy and start preparing for the next encounter.
— You landed the pitch more often today. How are you feeling after such an intense match?
— Yes, everything hurts, but that didn't stop me from giving my best on the pitch. Football is a contact game, so I don't get upset or angry about it. I will continue to work and monitor my condition.
— Today the team was very focused during the whole match and prevented a dangerous Zenit attack from creating a lot of chances. Did you have special motivation for this fixture?
— Everyone was preparing for a very tough game and we were completely focused. Including the bench players, you saw how Smolov came out as a substitute and scored immediately. Everyone was ready to work for the team and grab a victory.
— What were your thoughts after Jorge Carrascal's contestable sending-off?
— To be honest, I didn't see this episode myself. But I talked to Jorge and he confirmed that there was no foul. Even Wilson told me that this was not a foul. But the referee made such a decision, and we just had to accept it.
— When Dynamo scored a goal, you made a very powerful breakthrough, even though it was already the 74th minute. Do you feel 200 percent ready now?
— I can even say that I was more than 200 percent ready for this match. Runs are my strong point, so at this moment I benefited from it, after which I made a decisive assist. Everything turned out great.
— Dynamo's winless streak has reached 10 matches. Considering the progress that the team has made, is it not a pity that the winter break will begin very soon?
— Of course, I would like to continue playing and maintain this dynamic. I hope that during the break everyone will be able to rest and come back fresh to training camps where we will prepare for the second part of the season.
