Amkal was founded in 2018 by football blogger Herman El Classico, who gathered a team of FIFA players and other well-known bloggers. Gradually, the composition of the team changed, and more and more players with a football background appeared in it. For example, Anatoly Katrich, who is well-known to Dynamo fans, is now playing for Amkal, who spent 7 years in our club's system and played 49 matches for the main team.

This year is shaping up quite successfully for the popular media team. In January, Amkal participated in the international Media league held in Kazakhstan. In the semifinals, he lost to his principal rivals from 2DROTS, after which he won the match for third place. The revenge took place in the final of the recently completed Winline Medialiga Cup – the main time of the match ended in a draw 0:0, after which the Amkala players turned out to be better in the shootout (5:4).

This happened already under the leadership of Vitaly Panov, who headed the team in June. The midfielder, who played in the first division for KAMAZ from Naberezhnye Chelny, started his coaching career there in 2007, having managed to work independently in Volgar, Akron and Chelyabinsk.

Under the new head coach, Amkal also passed a record three stages in the Russian Cup, beating Kolomna, Veles and Cosmos. Only Vladikavkaz Alania was able to stop the media team, winning a minimal victory 1:0.

Two years ago, Amkal already crossed paths with blue and white. First, they won a convincing victory with a score of 3:0 over the youth team, and then at the VTB Arena they played with the main team and were defeated 0:5. Then Alexander Ovechkin opened the account, scoring a beautiful goal and making a memorable power play by all the rules.
