On Sunday, Dynamo midfielder Denis Makarov turns 26 years old.
Denis was born in Tolyatti. There he began his football journey at the Yuri Konoplyov Academy. Later, he played for "Yakutsk", "Saransk", "Orenburg-2", "Neftekhimik", and "Rubin". In the summer of 2021, he moved to "Dynamo" and since then has scored 14 goals in 81 matches.
In October 2020, Denis made his debut in the Russian youth national team, with which he played in the final part of the European Championship. And already in the summer of 2021, he was included in the final squad of the national team for the senior Euro.
