On Friday, Zhelyo Buvac, Deputy General Director for Sports of FC Dynamo Moscow, turns 63
Željko was born in the Bosnian town of Omarska. As a footballer, Buvac played for Yugoslav Borac (Banja Luka) and German clubs Rot-Weiß (Erfurt), Mainz and Neukirchen, which he later coached for three seasons.
In February 2020, the Bosnian specialist headed the sports direction of Dynamo. After signing a new contract with the blue-whites in March this year, Buvac will continue to work at our club until at least summer 2026.
