Sandro Schwarz: We lacked pass accuracy in the match against Rostov

# Sandro Schwarz

Dynamo Head Coach answered journalists' questions after the match against Rostov (1:1).

— It was a difficult match today. We did not come to the game in a proper way and made a lot of technical mistakes. The decisive pass also lacked. We consider the final score quite good.

— Can we say that the team missed Fedor Smolov in the starting lineup?

— I can't say that. We have a skilful attacking line. In the first round match, Tyukavin played as a centre-forward, Lesovoy was on his left, and Zakharyan was on his right. Konstantin has shown high-quality football in recent matches. If we talk about Smolov, he went to his first training session only yesterday. That is why he started the match on the bench.

— What can you say about today's refereeing in general? Did you see an episode in the first half when the referee did not award a penalty?

— I would not like to talk about the refereeing. I haven't seen the replay of that episode yet.

— Today, the crosses from set-pieces did not work quite well. What do you see as the reason?

— We had a lot of unforced technical mistakes. I would note not only the set-pieces. We generally lacked pass accuracy and more consistent creative play.

— After the match, the stands chanted your name and the name of Sebastian Szymanski. Do you feel any special support from them?

— I would not focus on the chanting of our names. From the first day we feel the support of the fans, and we appreciate it. As for the situation with Sebastian, everyone knows it. I don't know how it will go on in the future. He is a key player for us. We communicate with him quite closely every day. But given the current situation, we cannot say anything concrete now.

— Smolov scored his 10th Premier League goal this season. Have you talked to him about it? Does he aspire to become the league's top scorer?

— We communicate a lot with Fedor, but we do not focus on the necessity to become the best scorer. We are talking more about other things. He should create more dangerous chances. At the time of the penalty, our regular penalty taker Daniil Fomin was replaced. So it was Fedor who came to the eleven-meter spot.
