Dynamo right-back Sergey Parshivlyuk shared his expectations from the Betcity Russian Cup final against Spartak.
— This is my first final in the career. It is a big match for both teams and the whole city. Both sides have to win this trophy – Spartak celebrate the centenary this year. We will do the same next season. So I'm looking forward to a big clash.
— What do you feel before the first final in your career at the age of 33?
— I've been seething inside all week. Before going to bed, I try to visualize something in my head. It's an extraordinary game, an extraordinary Sunday, which I'm looking forward to. I want to say thank you to Sandro and my teammates for the fact that I have the opportunity to play in such a final at the age of 33. All thoughts are about bringing the trophy with blue and white ribbons to our dressing room.
— What do you feel before the match against the team that played an important role in your career? Do you want to prove anything to anyone at Spartak?
— I don't have any revanchist feelings. The most important thing is to lift the trophy over the head. It is clear that it will be doubly nice for Dynamo fans and football players to beat Spartak in such a match. I don't need to prove anything to anyone. We just need to show that we are worthy of winning the Cup this Sunday. And I have no acquaintances left at Spartak.
— Do you feel the excitement reigning before the final? Georgy Dzhikiya said that he could not buy tickets for this match.
— Yes, there was a problem to buy tickets for family and friends. Fortunately, I dealt with this challenge. The excitement is huge. There are a lot of people who want to get to the match. An interesting case happened when a familiar FUR employee recently changed his avatar to the inscription «no tickets». That says a lot. In recent years, this final is causing the greatest euphoria. We are happy to play in such a match and compete for the trophy.
