Sergey Parshivlyuk: We beat Rubin by using their tactics

— Congratulations on your hundredth match in Dynamo jersey. Did you know about this fact in advance?

— Honestly speaking, yes, I knew. Thank you for congratulations.

— Today Dynamo played one of the coldest matches in the Russian history. Didn't you have time to freeze up?

— The game did not allow to think about it. Thanks to the agronomists who prepared the pitch well. For such a season and weather, it turned out to be ideal and allowed to play football. So in general, nothing prevented us from playing.

— Daniil Fomin, who was eventually named the Man of the match, came out as a centre-back. Did you help him a lot?

— I wasn't heard, but he played like Baresi himself, so Foma deservedly received this award as well as the cap from Marcel.

— By the end of the second half, there were many runs to the opponent's penalty box, but the second goal was not scored. Did you keep the fans in suspense specially?

— We would have liked to score much earlier and bring the match to its logical end, but the ball did not go into the net. We were also lucky somewhere, because the opponent did not convert his chances. As a result, we beat Rubin by using their tactics and secured a 1:0 win. In such encounters at the end of the year, the main thing is to earn points, and the play may go by the wayside. It's good that we won. It's a very important victory for us.

— The team kept the clean sheet for the second consecutive match. Have you managed to improve the mentality that Marcel had talked about?

— Of course, when you play against Zenit and Rubin which have won five of the last six matches, it is important to keep the clean sheet. It's good that we did it. Of course, we allowed the opponent to create chances, but somewhere we were also rewarded for our endeavour. So, we are doing everything right, since the opponents could not score any goal.

— The team's unbeaten run is going on and includes more than ten matches. What is your secret?

— There is no secret. We work for each other, and the team is really being organized. People come off the bench, help and make the difference in games. Therefore, self-confidence appears. For example, in the match against CSKA, Dynamo played an unsuccessful first half, but we believed in each other and in the possibility to come from behind. It helped us to bring the derby to victory. Such results give a positive impact. We have the last fixture against Fakel to be played. Everyone understands what the weather conditions and the pitch will be, but there is nowhere to go – we need to take a win and continue our run.
