— He is an experienced player who scored a good goal. We knew he was playing well in those episodes. We put our tallest footballers – Sazonov and Marichal – against him, but he managed to shoot well in a difficult situation.

— What can you say about the first game of Nicolas Marichal?

— He looked good and did not lose concentration. I am satisfied with his performance. The same compliments go to Saba Sazonov. I am seeing his progress, and this is great news for us.

— Who will form the regular pair of centre-backs when all the players are available?

— It's good that we now have three good centre-backs. All of them are still very young, and we expect them to progress and grow together with the team. Competition is always important. My goal is to choose the optimal duo for each particular game.

— Of course, this is our job. We work out the set-pieces in training. I agree that we need to improve our actions in these situations. Believe me, we are constantly working on this aspect.

— We expected a difficult game. At the beginning of the season, the team lacked speed. They started moving the ball better, finding free zones, playing vertically on the striker and wingers with the new coach. I watched the game at the end of the previous season, and their squad hasn't changed much since then. They have high-quality players, and I am sure that Ural will fight until the end and will definitely pick up their points.

— It seemed that Konstantin Tyukavin was tired before you substituted him. Was it possible to make this substitution earlier, or Fedor is not still ready to spend a lot of time on the pitch?

— Smolov had only one training session with the group, so we need to take care of him. Tyukavin really got tired by the end, and I tried to find the most balanced solution in this situation.

— Dynamo climbed to the third place in the table. Is the team ready to compete for the title with Zenit and Spartak?

— It's only the beginning of September, and we're just trying to progress and win as often as possible. It's too early to predict what teams will be on top and what clubs will battle for relegation. We haven't played against Zenit yet, so it's hard to talk about the strengths of this side.
