Dynamo head coach Slavisa Jokanovic answered journalists' questions after the match with CSKA (2:1).
— Today our team demonstrated a pretty good game. We didn't follow the plan at the start of the match and CSKA took some dangerous corner kicks. When the first 30 minutes expired, we took the game under control and scored a nice goal. We looked great after the interval and created a lot of chances. By the end of the match, CSKA put serious pressure on us, but we were able to survive and got three points. I am satisfied with the final score and the team's performance.
— Dynamo are leaders in the unofficial Moscow championship. What do you associate it with?
— Derbies are special matches for Russian football players. They come to them with high motivation. On the other hand, there are other encounters: I can't still forget the games against Rostov, Nizhny Novgorod and Fakel, when we lost victories. It's great to be the best Moscow team, but we play not only with Moscow sides, and the final place in the Russian Premier League is much more important. We are trying to improve our play and show maximum dedication in all matches.
— In recent games, your team showed nice attacking football. Is it such a play that you want to see?
— Our work never stops. In 10 days we have another match, and everything that happened before means nothing in the future. Now we have a good streak, but it can change at any moment, because everything depends on our job. In recent matches, the team showed high-quality play, which was not enough to achieve the desired result, as at Rostov for example. We can't be completely satisfied with our play, as there is always room for improvement, even for champions. We need to keep going forward and never stop.
— Today, Daniil Fomin had the opportunity to set the RPL penalty record. Can this unsuccessful strike affect his psychological state?
— I don't think it will affect him. I don't know many players who have scored 17 penalties in a row. I think Ronaldo and Messi missed from the penalty spot more often than Fomin. He is the captain of the team and will continue to be one of two main penalty takers along with Fedor Smolov.
— Dmitry Skopintsev ran to you on the 70th minute. What did you discuss?
— Skopa asked me to address to Moumi, who was supposed to help him more in defense.
— What can you say about a three-month break in the championship? Is it a positive or negative thing?
— I think it's more the negative one, but we have no choice. In any case, we have to benefit from this period.
— What positions would you like to strengthen in the squad during the winter break?
— We have two more important Cup games to play, so we haven't discussed new players yet. We will return to this issue later. We have a fairly young team that already shows high-quality football. Of course, any club is looking for ways to strengthen the squad. Now we have to focus on the footballers that we have, continue to develop them and bring to a higher level.
