Slavisa Jokanovic: Today we played one of our best matches, but we can do more

— Today I am satisfied with the final score and team's actions. For most of the match we looked great, played positionally and found free zones in attack. We scored nice goals and played well in defense. Today we were more relaxed than in previous matches and showed the potential that the fans expected from us. Now we have to keep moving.

— In the second half, you made substitutions after Valery Karpin and when Rostov equalized. Your changes brought three points. Do you believe that it was your coaching win?

— As they say, the team always wins and the coach loses. Our team played well before these substitutions, and the footballers who came out after the break added freshness and energy, which allowed us to pull out this win. The team as a whole unit worked hard today and proved that we could play better than in previous games.

— Today Konstantin Tyukavin started the match and Fedor Smolov took the field in the second half and scored the third goal. Who is expected to be in the starting eleven for the next matches?

— Healthy competition is important for us. Tyukavin played well today, showed excellent movement and struggled for the ball. Smolov came on as a substitute, made an assist to Grulev and scored himself. In the match with Orenburg, the course of the encounter was turned over by Grulev and Gladyshev. So we are counting on all our attackers.

— You are usually elegantly dressed, but today you led your team in a sports suit. Dynamo demonstrated nice play. Will you wear it for matches all the time?

— I feel comfortable in it, but when the warm season comes, you will see my special suit for Cup fixtures.

— In the 90th minute, Daniil Utkin executed a free kick from your technical zone. What did you tell him?

— I was just joking and said him that he was on my territory. He laughed, nothing like that. Daniil is a good person and a great player.

— Can I say that today was the best match of Dynamo under your stewardship?

— We played good games against Spartak, Torpedo and Akhmat at our stadium. Today was one of our best matches, but we can do more. Arsen Zakharyan showed high-quality play, high speed and excellent dedication. This is what we expect from him. The whole team played great. We have a new young team that continues to grow.

— In the first half, it was obvious that Dynamo had a lot of potential, but there were few right actions and a lot of wrong decisions in the attack. When Rostov released the main footballers, they immediately scored an equaliser. Why did the team play like that in the first half?

— We had some cool chances in the first half and we could have led 3:0. I am satisfied with Tyukavin, Lesovoy, Skopintsev and Makarov who scored a good goal. The guys who came off the bench played really well. I don't regard football players as starters or substitutes. I think we have showed good team actions and chemistry throughout the 90 minutes of the match.
