Slavisa Jokanovic: Today was a difficult day for me, my players and our fans | News of FC Dynamo Moscow

Dynamo head coach Slavisa Jokanovic answered journalists' questions after the match with Fakel (0:2).

— Today was a difficult day for me, my players and our fans. We wanted to make them happy in the centenary match, but it didn't happen. The first half was not perfect due to constant delays of the game, and I had the feeling that we played 15 minutes instead of 45. At the beginning of the second half, we conceded a goal due to our mistake, then scored a comeback goal, but it was canceled by the referee. After watching the replay, I didn't see Zakharyan's foul. Then there was a penalty in our goal. We made substitutions, created enough chances, but could not realize them. It was not easy to break through the opponent's organized defense.

— In the second half, there was a brush between Anton Shunin and Dmitry Skopintsev. How can you comment this episode?

— We discussed it in the dressing room. Of course, in such a match, the players were nervous, and it was difficult for them to accept such a painful defeat. Not only Shunin or Skopintsev lost in this match, the whole team did it. After the encounter, emotions passed away, and the guys calmed down. I hope such episodes will not happen again on the pitch. We must continue to work hard, pay attention to teamwork and play cold-bloodedly.

— The team does not show the game that the fans are waiting for. Do you think that you did everything right or you can admit some of your mistakes?

— I am always motivated to work with my team. Yes, we are playing unstable this spring. But even today I can't complain about the unwillingness of the team to fight and give all their strength to win. We made mistakes in defense and paid for them. We didn't always make the right decisions in attack. I never give up, I dedicated myself to working with this team a year ago and I am ready to keep moving forward. Tomorrow we will have a recovery training session, and then we will start preparing for the next match. I don't have time to think about anything else.
