Goalkeeper Anton Shunin parted ways with Dynamo due to the expiration of his contract.
Anton is a graduate of the Dynamo Academy and has spent a total of 30 years in our club’s system. He made his debut in the main team in 2007 and played for 17 seasons! During this time, he took part in 366 matches and kept a clean sheet in 125 of them (both results are second in the history of the club).
While playing for our club, Shunin became the bronze medalist of the RPL three times, reached the final of the Russian Cup twice, was twice included in the list of 33 best football players in the Russian championship, and played for the national team, including at Euro 2020. For five seasons he was the captain of the team, having played 180 matches in this capacity (only Viktor Tsarev had more).
We thank Anton for his incredible devotion to the blue and white colors, his professionalism, his enormous contribution to the development of the club, and we will always be glad to see him at home - in Petrovsky Park!
