FC Dynamo Moscow extended the contract with Vladislav Galkin, who plays as an attacking midfielder, until the end of the 2023/24 season. The 19-year-old prospect moved to the Latvian side RFS Riga on loan until the end of November 2022.
Galkin is a product of Dynamo Academy, for which he started playing since 2016. He won the 2019/20 Youth Championship and netted 12 goals in 32 matches for Dynamo-2. Vladislav made his debut for the first team in a Russian Cup game against Dynamo Stavropol on September 22, 2021. A month later, the youngster came out as a substitute against Arsenal Tula.
RFS are the reigning champions of the Latvian Virsliga (the championship is played according to the spring-autumn system) and will represent the country in the Champions League qualifying round. On February 13, Dynamo faced the Riga side in a friendly, which ended with a 1:1 draw.
