Sunday marks the 94th anniversary of the legendary goalkeeper of Dynamo Moscow and the USSR national team Lev Ivanovich Yashin.
Yashin played at Dynamo for 22 seasons. The phenomenal goalkeeper made 358 appearances for the main squad of the White-Blues and this is the third figure in the club's history. As part of Dynamo, Lev Ivanovich became a five-time USSR champion and a three-time National Cup holder.
Champion of Europe, Olympic Games winner and the only one goalkeeper in football history who owned the Golden Ball — these are just the main titles of a huge amount of trophies won by Lev Ivanovich who fully deserved to be considered the best goalkeeper of the XX century in the world!
