Dynamo head coach Marcel Licka answered journalists' questions after the Cup derby with Spartak (3:0).
— I am very glad that we won this match and scored three goals, because in the last four games we faced poor finishing. The team played in a disciplined manner, defended well against the opponent's fast counterattacks and its game down the wings. It's nice to beat Spartak after two defeats in the derby. But this is history, from tomorrow we will start thinking about Fakel. We need to get three points and catch the leading group.
— What will you say about Nicolas Ngamaleu's juggling at the end, when he almost contributed to a dangerous counterattack to Dynamo's goal?
— He could have played like that, but it's impossible to lose the ball in such occasions. There is discipline, and it must be observed. When the team has ball possession, I want my players to be creative and do what the opponent does not expect. And Moumi juggled the ball a couple of times, but then Martins went hard into struggle, Nicolas fell and thought the referee would whistle. This is a man's game, and you can't rely on the referee – that's rather where I see the problem.
— You knew that the fans would not forgive you for the third consecutive defeat against Spartak. How did you motivate the players before the match?
— We try to motivate the team before every game, we talk to the players. Sometimes we joke, sometimes there are harder conversations. And it doesn't matter what opponent awaits us. If we want to fight for the championship title, we need to beat the teams from the bottom of the table. This is what Krasnodar are doing now: they score one goal, then play disciplined and score again on the counterattacks. It is clear that after two defeats by 1:5, the mood was appropriate. We played aggressively, and the main thing was that we realized our chances. It's good that we managed to score twice by the end of the first half.
— Fedor Smolov played the whole match today. Does it mean that he will not come out from the first minutes against Fakel?
— Today he played as a centre-forward, and Grulev was supposed to replace him in this position. Tyuka did a good job today in the morning, and I left him on the bench with the idea that if anything happens, he can be fielded for 10-15 minutes. Let's see who will play on Sunday. I am glad that Lesovoy, Smolov and Gladyshev played most of the match and showed a good level of play. I like our strong group in the Cup. The young footballers can feel this atmosphere and play against great players, getting a good experience.
— Do you agree that Vladimir Moskalyov worked very well?
— When we lost to Spartak by 0:1, I said that the referee worked that match well. There are no complaints today either. I don't see any big problems with refereeing, at least in our games.
